Credits
- LaserTagMods (JEDGE / JBOX): the original BLE protocol discovery and the tagger-rider concept. LaserTagMods also runs the community BRX Audio sheet, shared by Jay of LaserTagMods, which we fold into the sound catalog as unconfirmed community labels.
- Battle Company: the BRX hardware, the BRX Manual V7 and the 2018 Extended User Guide. The Extended Guide circulates in the owner community and has no official public address, so we can credit it but not link it.
- The BRX owner community: repairs, mods, the audio map, field practice.
- Jay / Extreme Laser Tag And More!: grenade and accessory videos.
How we source this
Facts come from Battle Company's own documents, from the Callsign app, from the owner community, and from testing on our own taggers. Anything unconfirmed, or contradicted between sources, is not published. Where an official document has a public address we link it, and we never host a copy. Every fact here is restated in our own words from those sources.
Policy
Open BRX is independent. It is not endorsed by Battle Company. Stock firmware is never modified. Everything is done over the documented Bluetooth protocol.
